I love a good matching set because I never have to worry if my outfit looks put together or not. I wore this during the first day of NYFW and I knew I needed something that I can easily throw on. When the clock struck 6 at work, I literally threw this outfit on and went straight to my first fashion show. The harem style pants make these bottoms super comfortable and the billowy top with a surplice neckline adds a bit of flirtation. If you're ever looking for ease and comfort, a matching set is the way to go!

Now that fashion week is over, I can officially say that I feel more relaxed and calm. I really enjoyed watching the shows despite the madness and craziness that was going on in Lincoln Center. I wore this outfit last Saturday when the temperature was so brutal, it felt like summer again. In order to stay stylish, I knew I needed to wear light airy pieces that wouldn't make me sweat. Haute Hippie came to my rescue with this fun zebra printed vest and shorts. I knew this combination would be perfect. I am literally obsessed with this vest from their Resort Collection. It's great to wear out or to wear over a black shirt for work. This outfit was the perfect transition from a day full of fashion shows to dinner and a night out with friends.

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. I was back in New Jersey for my friend's wedding and spent some quality time with my family!

The weather is starting to cool down and the leaves are about to change color. The feeling of fall is almost near! I love a good pair of booties because they can be worn to work, on the weekends, or when I am traveling. A good pair of booties can elevate any outfit and I've found some that I am looking to buy. Below are some of my top favorite choices (from great steals to splurges!).

As fall slowly approaches, I am starting to fill my closet with darker neutral tones. Basically, I am stacking up my closet with more black pieces. Way back in the day, I was never really a fan of black but after working and living near the city for a few years, I have become quite obsessed with anything black. Thankfully the nice weather is still allowing me to wear comfy shorts and a cute top for the weekend. I wore this last weekend while exploring Soho but this would also be great for a brunch or dinner with the girls. I love this black flowy top from Ooh la la Boutiques because of its versatility. I know I will be wearing this top a lot! You can wear it for work, on the weekends, or for a night out! For work, I suggest wearing this top with a black blazer or a chunky cardigan for a more business casual look. On the weekends, you can spruce it up with a form-fitted skirt for a night out or keep it a bit more casual with shorts like I did here for this post. I wanted the top to pop out more so I decided to add a body chain to this outfit!

Ooh la la is a great boutique with affordable prices for all women. Whether you are looking for something casual or sexy, Ooh La La offers an eclectic mix of clothing, accessories, and shoes from emerging and established brands that anyone would love. You can shop their online store or hit up one of their six locations located across Long Island, New York. If you want to starting shopping now, Ooh la la is offering a special discount for all my readers! Just enter in the code Livinginheels and enjoy 15% off your order! Happy Shopping!!!

AMICLUBWEAR c|o dress (on sale!!) | AARAA necklace & bracelet

I love this maxi dress. The best part is that this dress is currently on sale for less than fifteen dollars. Now that is a major fashion steal!! Amiclubwear carries fashion forward pieces at really affordable prices so you don't have to be breaking your bank account everytime you shop! Maxi dresses are great transitional pieces that can take you from season to season. You can easily throw on an edgy leather jacket and cute booties for the fall. Maxi dresses can be dressed up or down and are a no hassle kind of outfit. You never have to worry about a matching top or bottom.

Only a few more days of NYFW! Have you seen any cool shows? Do you have a favorite Spring 2015 line?
